At the Grey-Bruce Health Services in Southampton on Sunday, Sept. 24th, 2006, at the age of 79 years, David Higgs of Port Elgin, husband of the late Isabel Stowe, loved and loving partner of Sally Thornton, dear father of Eric and his wife Stephanie of Victoria, B.C., and Hilary Da Silva of Toronto. “Vavoo” (Grandpa) to Naomi and Susan Da Silva and Logan Higgs. Brother of James Higgs and Jean of Wasaga Beach, and predeceased by one brother Claude Higgs.
Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, (Town of Saugeen Shores) from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27th.
Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.
Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
Memorial contributions to Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
